grafting
so my friend borrowed my beautiful pink, orange, and yellow cacti (from lynn on her trip to vegas) until his arrived... well.. to make a short story short ;)... they ended up drying up and one even went so far as to rot from the inside out... when his little plant finally arrived he just gave me mines back and kept his... how are people so dense?!?! he even put his new one in the same place where mines had perished... and when i mentioned that he might want to move it to a different location he blurted, "no yours died b/c i didn't water them..." whoa! DENSE. dense as they come i say. how does book smart not mix in with common sense or consideration? or even street smarts? now i need to learn how to graft the colored parts onto healthy cacti. i guess i'm forced to learn something new, so it ain't all that bad... ::sigh::
