HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
halloween just passed... today was a very eventful day! i was late for a poetry midterm, ran into a long lost friend, shopped for bread, zuchini and persimmons and had lunch at the farmer's market. oooooo, i ran into "blossom" too (we were both admiring a watercolor portrait artist- $15 in 15 minutes) they had some great jazz going on while i ate my cheap-o peanut butter and nutella sandwich with koolaid.... i also happened to meet a woman who teaches afro-brazillian dance at hama studios who convinced me to take up afro-cuban drumming again. did i forget to mention i painted my face? ;) i went lilandra style (a "consort" of professor x and empress of the shi'ar galaxy) for the face makeup, arwen syle complete with a flowy shirt and her necklace (one of my favorites), but i couldn't find a fitting bottom... so i went plain with a black dress underneath my clothes (there's an endless story...;) finally i completed this busy day with a great heart to heart with natalie and an incubus concert in irvine with shani and raquelle.... the great stuff about this journal stuff is i feel like i'm opening up to the world and nobody at the same time.... all nonsense 24/7 on this channel baby!
