digital camera
last sunday i was messing with my father's digital camera and trying to hook it up for my sister amelia so that she could dl the pictures. since it was my last day home til christmas, i also decided to babysit my cousin Rowena's two children isiah and arianna. once i had the camera's memory cleared i started taking stills and 15 second videos of them jumping up and down and doing ring around the rosie. the part that will always make me smile is ariana running over to me to view the video before it was even done. "no! no! ariana! it's not done yet! do something else..." hahahaha and her chubby little face in the camera would suddenly turn and she'd run away on her stubby legs and start laughing and clapping and doing whatever isiah was doing. i could just see the recognition and thought process going on in her face and it was sooo delightful and innocent. then immediately after she would run over again and stretch her neck to see the digital camera all over again. they were as interesting and amusing to me as the images of themselves on the camera were to them. hahahaha, there's a word for that i learned in poetry class, but i forgot it... had something to do with an example of you looking at a sailor boy on a cracker jack box who has a box of his own in his hands with the identical image of himself holding the same box.... hah! nothing. hehehe.
