day after valentine's sale!
oh how i love the sweet scent of just reduced holiday items... (inhale... ahhhhh)
i started today by going to costco with mojo. (side note for the bored people- returned printer cartidges and got chicken filets, cream cheese, shrimp scampi (yowzers!), gummi bears, eggs, seafood spread, crackers, dried mangoes, capri suns, and finally! great, big, juicy...... strawberries!!! ya like that list? well now you can eat like me too! hehehehe)
then after much napping, phuc and i decided to go to best buy to get the xmen 1.5 edition ;););) which included a movie ticket for daredevil... so we're going to see that tonight with phong and mike. (i am soooo stoked.) since the matrix was $20 at best buy we tried our luck at circuit city. he got four more dvds (my BFGreek wedding, pretty woman, donnie darko, and of course, the matrix.) i got 2, my BFGreek wedding and legally blonde. so i was talking to the man about digital cameras for a long time and he was really nice... so he decides to help us in the back computer, the only free one... he bags my movies and hands them to me and says "it's ok" and i got soo confused... he was giving them to me for free! he says that i remind him of someone he knows and everything... the best part was he wasn't even trying to hit on me. (ooo cocky are we?hehehe (blush blush)) i felt so touched... it was kharma... earlier as we were exiting best buy's lot, i gave the lady who works at the ticket booth a handful of valentine's rolo's. she's my favorite lady!!! she's always smiling and happy and laughing... last time i gave her a clementine... wow......
just to lower these heart wrenching emotions a notch... (s-a-r-c-a-s-m for those who don't know me) i did go to longs also and cashed in on that sweetness... got me a plush heart covered horse, more lace hearts, cute stickers (hey! i'm a girl, i can be cutesy), rolo's for work on wednesday and that's it folks (a la woody woodpecker) um yeah. love ya too! hehehe...
