the bigger apple, walked from bottom of manhattan all the way to greenwich village.
day 4- monday, sept 8th
*take subway to bottom of manhattan, the financial district where ferries from battery park(eautiful) take you either to staten island(free!) or ellis island and the statue of liberty($10) i only did the free one, but i'll take the subway back next time for the big green lady... :)
*walking up broadway i came to a place called century 21. no, not real estate... here.. it's a bargain macy's kind of place where you can find designer items on sale... a really fun and busy place to check out...
*pretty church on broadway, i think it's trinity church, but i'll double check the name later... it has an old cemetary around it that date to the 1800's.. very disney haunted house like... so surreal... combine creepy and beautiful together... that's the ambiance.
*couldn't find anything in tribecca..not as touristy... but in soho i decided to shop at h&m, ingha's store of choice.. they only have it on the eastcoast.. sorta like an old navy type store...or a better, edgier forever 21.. :)
day 5- tuesday, sept 9th
*slept too much and got lost too much.. napped even! got practically nothing done.. walked a lil around times square... found a comic book store... didn't eat until 6:30 b/c i was sleeping on and off... heheheh...
