jobby mc job job
so.. the last two days were supposed job fairs... :)
**tues- rich, jane and i went to some retail fair (ugh, i will never ever to that again... unless it paid significantly more) and didn't have time for the stanford one.. we ended up getting boba. later rich and i had dinner at miyake's and then watched the joe schmo show... dude, this guy is so weird! they had a chocolate licking contest off a stripper.. and he went straight for the money! hahaha, they were supposed to lick chocolate off a girl to find letters that make a word. uh, man channel?!?
**wed- started out really good.. my silkworms came in... my router and card came in.. rich, korina, jane (and johnny sitting in a tree... j/p girl!) and i got grace to give us insider info on the sjsu job fair... pretty tight. had a good conversation with the lockheed guy.
him: "wait! you're from ucla! i'm from usc"
me: "shhh, we don't go here... blah blah blah"
no i did not actually say blah blah blah, but i'm sure you're imagining it nonetheless... :) i had great fun with him. he gave me resume pointers.. i asked for another phone holder for korina. i just waved it and kept saying "try to stop me" and he just kept laughing. i wish i had this power over managers. ;) then i'd get us all a jobby job. some people were also at a table for counseling, etc.. i'm really interested in doing this as a side volunteer thing. i'm really passionate about humanity, esp kids out there.. i want to be a mentor soon.. but i can't yet.. how can i be when i'm not even stable yet? also, it's a year commitment so i'd have to know where i'd be settled in for the time being... pray for me and this job at raytheon. i want it so bad! ;) almost as bad as i had to pee tonight! wow! it hurt that bad.
hehehe, rich and i were trying to get isaac to drive down to palo alto. no such luck. the vampire panda sleeps during the day, and wrecks havoc on gamblers during the night. (no, not havoc the superhero, the other noun.) so i'm going to hang out with him and the berkeley crew tomorrow... yay! more fun! i'm also heading to la this weekend... i am going to be so tired! to my close amis, i miss you all! it's been awhile... vous me manquez! hahaha, or as i say to rich in my broken few mandarin phrases wo yao liang ge pingguo. eh, eh ;)
