today was a good day...... still a lot of work to be done... but it's all good... i actually woke up early today for some strange reason... like 5:45 or something. took my time to work and i got there around 7am. not too shabby.
i am so grateful for the guy that sits next to me b/c he is soo freakin funny! he says i'm loony but then he gets and does something hilarious. he had this picture of himself in a girlscout costume for halloween many moons ago. he's been with the company as many years as i've been on this planet. everyone is really nice actually... i've even gotten around to handling the one exec that i've always meticulously avoided.. no more pushing around for me. my boss even sorta blew up at me.. but since i know he's like that and i know it's not personal.. it has no effect on me. kinda funny really... le sigh...
hmmm, good news... i got a crapload of money for xmas from a family friend... then my mom took 75% of it for my car insurance and to help out with ingha's rent... so then i was back to almost none... yay. i mean YAY!. yeah.. [/end sarcasm]
sorry jay, i stole that from you. ;) i really really like it. if i had my way, my unicamp name would have been C++, but as it is already taken, i'll have to be Perl or CGI or Matlab or something or other... :)
i am such a dork. in my limited land of the working world.. i have put together a harry potter scene at my cubicle along with my legolas picture.. it's actually kinda tight.. i took some string and hung potter and malfoy to look like they're in quidditch action... i'll try to take a picture so post it.. hehehe... hmmm, nothing else new... watched the 3rd disc of the simpsons when i got home... i just bought matthew's guitar for a great friend's deal... (he's going to australia, we're all gonna miss that sucka), i ordered the digital camera... (the canon elph digital s400, i'll let you know it handles..., but what i really wanted was the canon s50 at costco..., le sigh... it's feature loaded, but it is a tad bit larger... and the black casing isn't as snazzy and the letters rub off... and the door slides.. but still... features man, features...) the last major thing i want is a drum set... just a low end one to jam on.. hahaha this is gonna sound so corny, but i have this beat in my head and i just want to let music flow... but i still need to learn. i know i'm not that great b/c i took afro cuban drumming and i couldn't get all the beats right away, especially this particular high drum one.. but i tell ya, once you get it, it's stuck! i saw on ebay you could buy sets for like $300-400 + is that bad? also, i've never heard of titan... anyhoo..
