i took today off to hang out with my good friend elaine.. we started off so early! like at 8.. drove around san francisco... lombard street.. we then had an early lunch at marnee thai (i take everyone there) and spent the rest of the day strolling around the block... a nice woman named anita from the shiseido shop gave us makeovers.. i bought sunscreen, cocktail buns, and a pitcher plant!! they are so cool! i've only seen them in books and i finally saw one in person today..
i can't concentrate
i can't write it here... this deep pain in my heart echoes.. i can only subdue the pain, but i need a way to let go..
hmmm.. tomorrow is our first basketball game.. and i am so excited.. even though i'm on the free agent team, we have a few really good players. and i can't believe i'm the first girl in the league.. i've got to show them up! got to whip myself into shape! running, sit ups, weights, what else..? shotting around, pick up games, .. hmm.. i don't think i can fit in much else.. le sigh.. softball is my weaker sport.. we'll see about that..
it's funny.. tomorrow is chris moton's bday and all i can think about besides the good memories, is the echo of how much he thought i sucked at basketball.. speaking of shattered hearts.. i see girls that remind me of mandalore's gf everywhere.. or her name.. or his name.. trying to let go.. trying to do the right thing..
my nose is doing better, looks normal, the shiner is gone but there is a spot that "cracks" when i put slight pressure.. kind of cool! oh yeah.. and bruises galore. :) le sigh..
