4th of july was really fun
we ended up going to the giants vs a's game, (i'm so, so sad.. we lost...) there was a fight between pitchers, jt snow hit a homer, and barry ended the game. but on the bright side, it was a fun game, we had great seats, and we got these hella cute little drink holders/ coolers that are in the shape of a giants jersey! so freakin cute!
after the game we found our hotel, then took the bus to pier 39. each of us ended up buying our alma matter sweatshirts to keep warm during the fogged out fireworks. :) we stopped by o'reilley's bar and saw an unconsicious man get pummeled by another huger guy. my visiting friend from ucla pushed the aggressor off the crumpled, unconscious man. the bad guy eventually ran away, but when we rolled the other guy off his face, we saw his tooth was majorly chipped and there was blood on the floor. he had hit the pavement hard a few times. then, about 10-15 minutes later, the guy on the ground got up and his adrenaline started. he started yelling for that guy who messed him up and then ran further down the block. we were left with a lingering shock.. and tried to finish up our beer and get the heck out. next to the tooth chip and dollop of blood was about 85 cents... i couldn't believe it, but my la friend picked it all up stating if it wasn't for him the guy woulda been dead meat.. and as funny and ironic as it all was, he was right. actually, his driving reason was, if he didn't take the money, someone else would. hahahahahah... um, yeah.
anyhoo, we also had dinner tonight at mccormicks and kuletos.. very nice. we all got different kinds of seafood and we shared the chocolate bag for dessert. the next couple days are going to be hectic. ohhh boy! [/sarcasm]
