hmm, today ingha left for ucla with my parents and amelia is coming back home from hawaii.
this weekend's been pretty good. friday i worked 12 hours to make up for monday when i was coming back from europe. friday night we went to 251 castro, a pool hall and later on that night i kidnapped steve, chris, and todd to dance the night away with my french roommies at molly mcgee's 2 doors down. seems like everyone's breaking up these days so we had to keep some people entertained. (fyi, the dj wasn't that great, but the cover was only $5 and it's a pretty small venue...)
sat ingha and i had dim sum at fook yuen's in millbrae, which i suppose susan was right... is a lot more expensive than other places. but that place we ate at in sf had cockroaches lurking... oh well...
today i still have loads to do, but i thought well since there's internet at eggettes and i'm getting boba there i might as well pop by. :) i always get lychee almond milk tea, korina's favorite, i'm just copying her. hehehe..
i'm moving hella crap down to my new place in mountain view that i'm renting. i need help, but i dont' feel comfortable asking for it from coworkers.. weird huh.. me not comfortable confronting people... i'm bringing my churro with me too. for those who car, i bought soem new plants over at trader joe's. they're selling my favorite tropical pitcher plant there for around $3.79!!!! that's really, really great considering orchards and everywhere else sells them for double that amount. if i still haven't convinced you, then maybe you should know that it ate a crapload of ants i had in the kitchen of my new place. pretty nifty ;) the ants were crawling around it and next thing they kenw, drowned. they also have north american pitcher plants which they call cobra lilies (but they're wrong) selling for a good price. they're more expensive if you buy it with the glass pot.
anyhoo, hope you've had your share of dorkiness for the day.. oh yeah, compusa has a firewire notebook card for 29.99 (used to be 49.99). i need a desktop card for my ipod. let me know if any of you know a good/cheap brand or have an extra i can nick off you.
