whoa, it went from being no guys at work to being too many to concentrate on. well.. guys under 40. hehehe.
i'm getting better at basketball and my shin splints are gone. (finally!) this is going to sound so retarded, but there's this really good exercise for the kind i had where you just tap your toes on the ground while you're sitting and it exercises those muscles on the side of your calves... hehehehe i kept getting swatted by this new guy, but i think i could at least hold my own in d.
we lost in softball again this week. one of our newer players can't play softball very well.. i think he might have struck out every time.. but no biggie.. i stuck out once.. the only bad part is it was back to back. (ouch) i guess i was just frustrated b/c we should have beat this team, Bullmarket (we're the alley cats). we came in second out of 8 last year, but apparently the 4 players we lost really did hurt our team. anyhoo, we were down to the last inning, we were leading by 6 runs and the other team was up at bat. for some reason we couldn't hold our own and i missed a few at home. i felt so inadequate, but c'est la vie. we still have a few chances next time.
so last night i played some 3 on 3 for a few hours then hung out at susan's with the crew. andre got sick again... today we're going to be celebrating auntie agims' and uncle willy's 25th wedding anniversary at a restaurant. then i think my roommies have some party to go to that they say will be soooo great, but maybe i'll just wait for the annual halloween party.....
tomorrow there's going to be 2 BBQ's to hop around to that should be awesome. one if a bday "friday" style party with a nightclub after. the other is more chill with just a few funny people... sounds like the best of both worlds if you ask me. i just wish they weren't so close together....
and for anyone left in millbrae, seems like matt chen just moved back to millbrae. time to get the party started... hehehehe....
