I was browsing my friend's blogs, something i haven't done for awhiles. i got caught up on korina's blog about sex offenders (http://meganslaw.ca.gov/disclaimer.htm) and checked out my home, my work home, my old la apt... wow. turns out majority of them are crimes with children 14 or less. wow. and a violent one lives/ed 4 blocks away.
i read sarahderd's blog and took her music quiz.. turns out my song of 2004 is vertigo, but i dont' even like that song. argh. heh.
i read ants' blog and read about how he's going to make a great parent and a great catch and that parent's love him. sheesh, that thing is so right, my parents love him. my mom can't go 2 weeks without asking me about him. it's so annoying. hehehehe.
i read alphonsis' blog and panda's blog... i like the twist of blizzard adn the love story...
i checked out rich's blog, but i already knew they were going to las vegas for mary's bday.
brian's blog was interesting, about origami and pictures of all the origami insects :) hehehehe... he's a big nerd like me, but he's of the smart breed. brian's blog was the one that actually got me to want to update my blog about things i'm interested in. thanks brian. hehehe, and i should be posting these comments on their sites and more, but... le sigh. le procrastination, eet alvays, vins!

last night may, kev, and tina came over to chill. hahaha, of all things i was scrapbooking on a friday night. :) the next morning was weird... filled with tasks. i ended up doing yard work, pulling weeds, raking leaves, rearranging my potted plants. this is so dorky, but i wanted to do a web page on things that interest me and just build upon my knowledge/ page. hahaha, like my plants. i love my plants. i just got a cymbidium orchid from trader joes for about $25. pretty good since costco is selling them for more. i was so happy when i found out i had 3 stakes of flowers instead of 2. i keep that baby outside b/c it's a cold weather one. once it starts to have offspring, my auntie agim and i are going to trade ;)
i recently moved the majority of my house plants into my bedroom. a tropical pitcher plant, a bromeliad, two anthuriums, an african violet (that kabir gave to ingha right when they started dating), and a zebra plant. downstairs on the windowsill i have my collection of carniverous plants and cacti. 3 north american pitcher plants, a special lava rock anthurium, a cacti, and a venus fly trap.
i really really want to get an herb garden growing as well as the bulbs i got from costco. :) (dwarf lilies, dinner plate dahlias, tulips, and low growing dahlias). hmm, am i missing any herbs? (basil, thai basil, dill, sage, mint, lemon grass...)
