Work Venting
I have this lead who gives me such tasks as taking minutes and filing. Sure I'm the bottom of the totem pole, but when you're going to be giving such tasks, say something like, "I'd like you to..." or "thanks for doing this..." INSTEAD of skirting the subject and saying something like "..you wanted analysis work, right?" what bs.
So I put up with it. Then today I get a "Hey your manager wants this to happen so I have another assignment for you." He wants me to put up double sided tape on the cubicle wall so we can display our concept review. I wish he would just cut the bs and say, "Hey, can you do this for us?"
What a F**khead.

there isn't an admin-type person who can do those things? the other thing you can do is say to the guy, "sure, i can do that, but i want to make sure that this is your priority ahead of these other things i have on my plate." (or something you should talk to your manager about?)
