it's that familiar time of the day
it's that familiar time of the day when i find myself sitting wishing i had more time in a day as it's time to sleep and i have work tomorrow... didn't get to accomplish everything i wanted... then the cycle repeats itself.the guy i'm seeing is in venezuela... i miss him, even though i'm keeping busy.. can't help but want to cuddle and nuzzle... like a teddy bear... le sigh
and i played basketball last week... shoulda sat that game out and played this week's more managable team. i got majorly hurt and thrown about. i don't really mind it, b/c i'm pretty aggressive myself about sports, but dude.. i had bruises up one arm and both calves... once calf looked pretty messed up. i fell about 2 times.. once i tripped, the other time i got sideswiped and i'm just lighter than them so i fall pretty easily. i think i sprained my right thumb then but didn't know. i didn't even realize i had sprained that thumb until i sprained my left one the same day trying to play volleyball. i hate volleyball on grass. i don't always but for some reason lm's nets seem cheaper and so do the volleyballs we end up using... oh well.
back to the sprains.. the left one is healing nicely.. pain subsiding.. but the right one.. oh boy. it hurts like a mother. and i don't know how to tape it properly... where are my ace bandages when i need them? i read that the reason the left one hurts less is b/c the direction of the sprain was in a more common direction, toward the fingernail... the sprain of my right hand is a more dangerous one, but i don't think it's ruptured... this sprain was in the direction toward the palm... i'm so sad.. everyday things are kind of a struggle... just using the mouse hurts....
i am so mad about this sprained thumb. at least i know how to tape it now.
work is getting busy too.. my social life is so busy, i forgot about tanya's bday on sat. sooo sad :( the guy i'm seeing wasn't even here all week and i was still too busy and forgot a bday... poo!
