GRX Hoops Championships
could have been better, but we did our best and we had a very good season. :) so while we were ranked 4th, we beat out the top seeded team to their dismay and then proceeded to challenge the next team. i regret to say that i did not score any points. but i revel in the fact that i totally shut down their top scorer fair and square to the point where she was visibly frustrated. my whole tactic revolved around preventing her from getting the ball. i knew once she had the ball the advantage tipped heavily on her side.our top girl shooter wasn't doing so hot either. maybe it had to do with the fact that we didn't have any subs and the other team had a full roster of 4 girls. bleh.
we ended up with another intense, tight game where everything was determined by the foul shots. mad props to my boys who came out to support me (steven, cyril, lucho)
injury wise my finger survived and looks pretty normal although it hurts tons.. i think i literally sprained all three joints, the top, middle and base of the same finger. and my ankle isn't sprained much, but significantly tweaked... hopefully healed by the time it snows. snowboarding season is riiiiight around the corner. riiight there. i can feel it in me bones.
**********other than that the week's been pretty crazy..

::sigh:: seems like so many people are getting married. this weekend i got this whole deal from my mom, "you and christina used to hang out and now she has a kid."(looks at me) (me rolling eyes)
october had me busy with bdays and now i have a spattering more and then xmas. just let me breath between each word i type.
