Trader Joe’s Pink cymbidums
I actually went there yesterday in search of a certain type of pink cymbidiums for me and my aunt (it’s her bday on sat) My mom “stole” my pink cymbidums last year. (flashback "i don't want the ones you bought me, i want yours") This year they seems to be about $4 cheaper, $20.99 instead of $24.99. They’re totally easy to keep too. Just half a cup of water maybe 1x or 2x a week… maybe I should get them for the girls. AND you keep them outside b/c they’re mild cold weather plants. They are soooo beautiful!!!! TJ actually sold out of the pink ones b/c of valentines day, but EVERYONE who worked there was so friendly. They told me when and how many shipments there would be and that I should come early in the morning. ok, so there was one guy who didn't seem to have a clue about anything- you know the type, the "i can't guarantee you anything b/c really i don't know anything about it although i'm pretending i do and i'm too lazy to look it up for you" type, but the others were so intuitive... one guy stocking nearby saw me walking away from that moron and took the initiative to find the shipment dates for me without me saying a word. The next day I went over to the TJ on el camino near mathilda and the same guy, sean, had put the only nice one on hold for me!!!! I was soooo happy!!! (no robbie, i know what you're thinking, he did not ask me for my number!!!)Ahem, then I pulled a classic Arlene and put it on the register counter and the angle and gravity made it flip over so it fell on it’s head. I looked stupid and I lost about 5 flowers, but at least I finally have it. : ) le sigh…… classic arlene. i guess it's just the karma i have from people doing nice things for me and getting free stuff occasionally.
