if i miss putting in a space in this blog forgive me b/c the space bar sticks.so i'm waiting for my flight to bali at the singapore airport... they have the weirdest bathrooms here... they have an old school squatting toilet that is basically the toilet seat on the ground as a stall. also instead of the toilet seat covers i'm used to, they have this spray mounted to the wall. you're supposed to press the button and it sprays the seat. then you wipe it. riiiiight. yeah, i still put toilet paper on the seat, after the recommended spray/wipe seat action.
i still have to go to myspace and say thanks to all the people that have wished me a happy birthday through comments, phonecalls and thru email. here's a preliminary THANKS!! you know what was really cute was my dad was the first person to try to call me after midnight to wish me a happy birthday even though he knew i had a flight around that time. i love my papi.
the flight went hella fast, esp with on demand. i saw the notebook. LOVE the movie. hahahaha, up there with my other trashy romantic/r-comedy classics. (never been kissed, dirty dancing, clueless, blah blah...) the other movie i saw was rumor has it...just ok. i rewatched bend it like beckham... really good flick... jonathan reys meyers or whatever his name is had another flick being featured: match point...watched a tiny bit of that one... pretty good as well...
the woman next to me was a teacher traveling to india for her parents' 50th anniversary. she was trying to come up with a great bday present for her mum, either a massage or lipstick(hermum has never tried on lipstick in her life)... coincidentally, this woman had her bs in anthropology from UCLA and her husband used to contract at my work now, LM.
soyeah, trying to pass the time here at the airport.. watching scrubs on the laptop (thanks ingha and amelia for scrubs season 3) there is a magnificent orchid/ koi pond display here in frontof "the perfect cup" cafe. hundreds of orchids... wow.
also thinking about the best timetobreak to my mgrs that i'mleaving for europe for 3 weeks.... probably 2 weeks after this trip is over...
normal stuff: life at work is better, school is breaking my a$$, the teacher from sys eng (see my blog about him 2-3 back)actually numbered the deliverables but gave us really really really hard/ confusing hw this week.. i ended up leaving work at 8 trying to finish it and get things in order before leaving when i wanted to leave at 5pm... missed my mgmt class..crap, that's going to be 3 mgmt classes i'll be missing... gotta beefup the class participation or else i'll be suffering... bf, same ol, and i should probably check in about now...
