Hmm, things seem to be getting scarier. Indonesia with two tsunami’s a volcano explosion and a related earthquake killing thousands?
I wasn’t anywhere close, but I was still in on the same large island when the volcano exploded. I left days before the earthquake, but luckily they weren’t near Jakarta. I guess it’s the same thing as being in san francisco and something happening in sacramento.. but still. I get worried sometimes. I have family there, lots of family. I wish they were here.
Bush rubbing the shoulders of the german chancellor? Sounds a lot like the makings of a large engineering company. ;) it’s ok, but not really, but yeah.
A 13 year old boy with slight learning disabilities is mauled to death in his own home by the family pitbulls? Hours after he was bitten in the arm and chest while his mother was home? Wow. A hole in the back of his scalp? I don’t know what to do with the mother, I think she learned her lesson.
The conflict in iraq and men coming home and killing themselves abusing their spouses and even killing policemen using military tactics back in January 9th in Ceres, Ca? wow, what is this world coming to. The illegal weapon that the man possessed ripped apart both of the other officers legs and “destroyed” his abdomen.
Netherlands has a political party whose main goal is to lower the sexual consent age limit from 16 to 12. It has 3 members, one who was once convicted of molesting an 11 year old boy. Are we living in the past? We don’t need to have millions of kids to work the farm anymore and don’t need to get preggies younger, much less abuse our kids who aren’t old enough to know that a 35 year old man is using a 12 year old girl for sex. It’s practically brainwash.
The bombing of innocent people in Lebanon and Israel. This is just too much.
While all of this is going on al gore is talking about how to save our planet. A legitimate subject often overlooked by the urgency of other matters. I actually believe him- we have so much evidence to support his theories. Record high heat waves…
Ok, there is some good news in the paper. There’s a eaglecam in maine that you can view on the web. There’s new “summer fruit” dessert recipes. That bush thing was pretty funny. (I bet he’s thinking, stupid America and their freedom of speech ;) and the comics were pretty good, especially the tongue in cheek humor or humor relating to technology. :)
