kite runner
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071107/wl_nm/afghan_bomb_dci just read kite runner by khaled hosseini and this news really depresses me. i've always had a soft spot about personal rights, especially womens' rights. i've always harbored this guilt that i'm not more involved with politics to try to make a difference, but i've accepted that just isn't my route. i feel for people. it's hard for me to believe that people live the way they do.. without basic needs. everytime i go to indonesia i feel really guilty for all that i have and have had. i could go on and on... i think i'll stop here for tonight.
