trivial things i've come to realize...
1) shop either the day after xmas or the day after new years (to banana republic, etc) then come back on the 1st friday of the month and get your price adjustment. ;) that way you get the best selection with the option to return if you wish. (esp good for extra suits, wool coats, cashmere sweaters)2) if you're trying to return something defective and the store won't take it, try another store. if that doesn't work, call their corporate headquarters.
3) br has great merino wool, ann taylor has great cashmere adn merino wool, silk/nylon / spandex/ etc blends pill...
4) wendy's has pretty good mandarin chicken salad.
5) burts bees peppermint lipbalm. yummy
6) burts bees lemon cuticle cream. smells yummy
7) "how i met your mother" funny as heck. go watch it! it's LEGENDARY!
8) turkish delights straight from Istanbul? AWESOME.
9) get a lot of sleep before boarding.
10) for ~$5, costco has this eyewear cleaning solution with free refills for the life of the two bottles + two fabrics to clean with + a screwdriver tool
11) sweetened turkish coffee? awesome.
12) sweetened iced vietnamese coffee? awesome too.
13) if you're going to complain when someone doing a service for you does something bad, you should also go the other way and put a little effort to help reward / compliment someone who does something out of their way.
